I loved Hyperion but I can't bring myself to listen to the sequel.

The magicians was pretty great too but could've done without the cucking.

Stormlight archive was pretty great but the third book was a bit much, I'm not liking the scale the story is moving into.

I also enjoyed ELLC and Wild Wastes to a lesser extent.

Blindsight was amazing but again I can't bring myself to listen to the prequel/sequel.

Seveneves, Farenheit 451, moon is a harsh mistress, we are legion, prince of thorns, and a ton of other meme shit were pretty bad.

Trying to get into Mishima for the first time. I know he's a meme writer like DFW and Stirner here but honestly the fucking prose in The Sailor Who Fell From Grace With The Sea was oppressively, excessively beautiful, I had to take breaks so I wouldn't suffocate in the pages.
Felt the same way with the Torture Garden and Against Nature after I got some recs in a sharethread here.
