so if im understanding this right, heidegger interprets plato as being to origin of onto-theology, or is the onto-theologicial interpretation of plato a misguided one by his view? like plato got the presocratics wrong and then that was the basis of his project?

His entire philosophical project was to put doubt into all the fundamental beliefs of western culture. He emphasized the need for using gender-neutral and species-neutral language when referring to mankind.

He respected no contemporary philosopher except for Derrida, whom he tried unsuccessfully to meet.

Are there any writers out there that develop Heidegger's ideas concerning the historical Geshick (destiny) of a people from a left-wing/non-right-wing point of view? Basically trying to see how you can adapt what seem like NatSoc philosophy concerning community/individual/history to decidedly non-fascist ends. Particularly interested in how it relates to indigenous peoples. The EZLN in Chiapas strikes me as a group that has authentically engaged with their historical heritage and created a self-determined way forward that remains fully mindful of language, land, culture, etc and their "volk"ness.
