kindle is for people who actually read. it has an e-ink screen (meaning it looks like paper and is not lcd, therefore not causing eye strain like a computer) and the battery life is months long, and it has the most compatible formats

nook has an lcd screen and the battery lasts for a few hours, meaning it is basically a shitty ipad. the only people who like nook are fucking casuals who want to look trendy with their e-readers but don't actually use it for reading, these people should have just bought an ipad to play angry birds. reading a nook is the same as reading pdfs on your computer, there is absolutely no fucking point.

tl;dr kindle = cheaper, more efficient, all around superior

nook = hipster "reading device" for hipsters who want to download apps and don't actually read

>The Kirpan is a short dagger which symbolizes a Sikh's duty to come to the defence of those in peril. All baptised Sikhs should wear a short form of Kirpan (approx. 6" to 9" long) on their body at all times as a defensive side-arm, just as a police officer is expected to wear a public-defensive weapon when on duty. Its use is only allowed in the act of self-defense and the protection of others. It stands for bravery and protecting the weak and innocent.
