Women being less violent is almost certainly a by-product of them living alongside a physically superior male who - for most of history - would have no compunction about beating the ever-loving shit out of them if they were to get out of line.

Women have been conditioned just as much as men when it comes of physical violence. Most women are taught to always avoid fighting for a bunch of reasons, and are actively discouraged by the constant Prescence of men. Thousands of years of that reality likely accounts for a significant amount of the disparity, rather than women being gentle little flowers. If anything, it’s more them being cowardly than anything.
