Art doesn't need to correlate with beauty, that's a silly thing that only Hume and other merchants could pretend. Kant was already working around the concept of beauty, a century before that beauty was a tangential thing in art, second to the imitation of classics and the mimesis.

There could had been and it didn't survive, just like poop paint paintings haven't survived more than a couple years and only as a funny thing to remember.

what is? that particular dichotomy? those two concepts?
it's an old discussion and can easily be answered with things like
>Go read Adorno
>Go read Heidegger
>Go read Ficino
usually discussion comes after both parts are on even terms and can support their ideas on bigger conceptions.

Not really, many artists just hire other people, usually grad students, to paint their ideas. A lot of the time a work will have a big computer angle and they'll call some IT guy to make their ideas happen. And then the work will be send to another country where it will be remade from scratch by the museum there.

Most grad students could mimic most of the iconic classic styles, they do that during college. Academia has destroyed the uniqueness of style, artists used to have just a handful of students and now everyone is taught every minute detail that has been analyzed of their works, and their students' work and so on.

I was talking about artistic production purely.
I would discuss that we don't really need the level of importation we have and that the money dedicated to promoting industrialization is a joke, but it's just an opinion based on very general data. I only know one econ major and most of his ideas are jokes on the level of the need to spend less and can't see clearly political intentions in economic moves, so I don't really have good sources about the topic.

Macri owns the company that won the bid to build the highways. Everything about his existence is a joke, as it tends to happen with the people in charge of BsAs. But people freely walk around past midnight in a week day, nothing happens. Bookstores remaining open up to 2 in the morning has always been a "thing".
>influential in the world
That's a bit too big, I'd be happy if people inside out own country read some books written by someone who isn't from the only city that gets published. Once you have national recognition you can see if you even care about working your way to the world, but it's a personal matter more than a city one. Again, Aira is getting published internationally, and even if entertaining his production isn't to die for.

A group of friends closing their 20's reunite weekly since highschool to play an absurdly complex board game made by one of them, they chat about how much in the gutter their lives are while only their actions are described leaving the general idea and goal of the game open to the reader. I'd like it to be a part of a novel I was jotting together from some characters I just wanted to write but if it stays as a short story that would be nice, finishing it in any way would nice enough.

I've been heavily posting in this board for a couple of months and no one ever complained, I haven't made a scene or tried to convince anyone of anything.
I'm pretty sure it's one of those things that when someone behaves it doesn't count and people only pay attention to the bad ones.
