It fucking sucks that Weber died of the Spanish Flu and never finished Economy and Society.

His discussion of rationalisation is primarily found in Economy and Society, though you'll find aspects of it in the Protestant Ethic as well. I would say start with the Protestant Ethic, it's a fairly short read and the final chapter has the famous 'Iron Cage' analogy. After that you can jump into Economy and Society, though i'd recommend having a 'Max Weber Dictionary' or some other secondary on hand (I like the one by Swedburg and Agevall, it's on libgen i think) so you can keep track and cross reference his definitions. Though i do like his vocation lectures, political writings, and general economic history, they aren't necessary for his discussion on rationalisation. I may go through my copy of Economy and Society and find the especially relevant chapters, as the book isn't a cohesive work but a series of works edited together by his wife after he died to the Spanish Flu.

>be me
>go to the gym on new years
>only fags curling in the squat rack

The above was just a generic greentext story to serve as an example.

How come 4chan greentext isn't perceived as what it is - namely probably the only interesting literary innovation since the beginning of the millennium? (asking unironically)

This might not be the right thread, but can you tell me what this coat of arms of flag or symbol with the yellow snake represents? Is it related to fascism? What's it called. Does it relate to the yellow coat of arms of the Holy Roman Empire? If so, how?

It's nothing I'm an expert on.
What I can say is that it's a now popular movement in philospophy academia which tries to get away from French ontologies of the world saying there are only relations and not things (as in ideals or more).
