Dragonlance is fucking great--read the main stories/trilogies by the primary authors. I don't know why most fuccbois here have a hardon for only the Twins interactions.
Don't read the Dragons of a New Age trilogy though; they are good within themselves but they're ignored by the rest of the chronology and it just feels weird, almost as if the reader is the only one who knows about basically all the events in the story.

There are lots of things going on at Roshar, and to tldr the post, there's a fifteen-year 'timeskip' between SA5 and SA6. The back half will also have main characters who are side characters now (Jasnah, Lift, the guy who thinks he is Talenel, etc.)
