>Have you ever interacted with a troon?
I have lived in a city of over 1 million people and never have even seen a tranny. This is an entirely manufactured problem that exists only on the internet, of people being mad for the sake of others about people being mad about those people. It's all made up problems. None of this affects even remotely close to a single percentage point of people.

One of the things that most demotivates me about reading is forgetting everything I read. There are books I have read that I don't even remember the names anymore. Thus, reading sometimes feels like a vain effort to me. I wish I could cyte passages and discuss the books that I've read in depth whenever I wished to, but I don't know how to do it. I've restarted (I've never read much) my journey in literature/philosophy and I am currently finishing The Iliad.
Can you give me some good and practical advices on how to really retain what I read from this point forward?

Been few months since I started learning math from scratch. Still drudging through algebra 1. I think I'm not going to make it.

This thread is the state of intellectuals. Nobody can complain about there being anything wrong with the world if this is muscular flex on display.

How do I become an actual philosopher and think for myself?

I read a lot, but I feel like all am doing is just absorbing other people's thought processes and thinking patterns without forming my own.
Is there a specific reading list that allows one to form a "thinking mind"? Like if you read books on carpentry and wood working, you would get the basics that allow you to make your own shit. Are there books like that for observation and critical thinking?
