OP here. Want to clarify that there is a lot of parts of Catholic theology I enjoy and find strength in but overall my experiences with a variety of my local Catholic Churches, the present global organization, and what has been listed in the Catechism hasn't been enough for me. I have step away for now, maybe I'll return. Its all another day on the Path.
I won't go into specifics but I don't think Vatican II went in the right direction and I don't think the Protestant churches have either. I still believe in the Logos. The thing about elder organizations is that they tend to get bloated or corrupt whether it be kingdoms, corporations, or churches eventually...

I wanted to make this statement to BTFO all the r/atheism folk that showed up.
