I know it should have been the other way around, but the Karamazov family is one and the same with the Incandenza. Aliocha, with the purity of Mario, has become a monk in search of enlightment; Ivan is just as cynic as Hal, thus becoming an academic; and Dmitri feel the same hate towards his father as Orin does. Just finished the first book, and by the second chapter's name, they are all going to reunite themselves after being raised by different people.
I've read The Idiot and Crime and Punishment, so the hype is over the roof for me, even more so considering the high regard that the book is held.

Do you think there will be time to read everything that you would want to read in your lifetime? Is it worth wasting some of your life reading books about the tragicness of the human lifespan?
