If you cared about style you weren't reading enough Hegel, Marx, Annales, CPGB (historians) and primary sources.

How often did lecturers ask you for detailed points of fact when they had monday brain from drinking too much red wine. When did lecturers quietly smile at you because you were the only one in tutorial who could actually keep up with their research, and yet not bumhole agree with them? Know enough to dispute them?
