Can some one red-pill me on e-reader dictionaries?

I bought an Oasis because the Kobo ones were abysmal, but I'm still not fully satisfied with the default ones offered by Amazon. Is it worth to buy a Dictionary from the Kindle store, ore are there better alternatives?

E-Reader Thread I guess.

Oasis all the way.

Unless you want some shitty e-ink tablet, which is not the way to go if all you want to do is read.

The absolute best "standard" e-book that you can buy, currently.

And considering the multiple amount of hours that you spend reading on it, I'd say it's a bargain.

Even if you like paper books, there's literally no excuse for not owning one of these.

I'm not usually one to chill Consoomerism, but you're really missing out if you don't own one of these. The dictionaries/translators/(and Wikipedia access) are fantastic.

It is, but I read so much on the damned thing that I would pay three times the price.
The yellow light is glorious. Once you use it you will never turn it off.
The fact that is water resistant and the extra screen size are also a very big plus.

But you're right. Its priced is very inflated for what it makes to manufacture. The same applies for the cases. The only good ones are made from amazon and cost almost 50$.

I bought an Oasis recently and I'm actually very happy with it. An improvement from Kobo, for sure.

Only flaw is its battery life.

I currently own a Kobo (glo HD) but I'm honestly not very happy with it.
Kobo offers no easy way to install 3rd party dictionaries and I've already found multiple poor edited books on their store.
Also, the screen size it´s rather small.

Is it really worthy to switch to Kindle? Is the Oasis the way to go, in this case?
I'm honestly interested in purchasing the very best e-reader available on the market. I will buy every book so money is not a problem.
