There are of course many players in the Israel-Palestine conflict: Israeli citizens, the Israeli government, Mossad, Palestinian citizens, Hamas, Lebanese citizens, Hamas, Iranian citizens, The Iranian government, The Revolutionary Guards, Syria etc. etc.; and the "problem" to be solved is based upon the rest of the world stepping in, and making it undesirable to commit to further militirization and war.

Because as it is, the Israeli government, Ahmadinejad, Hamas, and Hezbollah all find it beneficial to posture for war, and sabre rattle. it won't end until there is a reason not to.
