you can tell this is fake because
> 1 no one would specify "uncle" when googling.
> 2 you can't buy a specific individual's search history for $40 on the dark web.
> 3 it's called the "dark net"/"darknet" not the "dark web" (not to be confused with the "deep web"). Lots of people say "dark web", but not people who actually use the darknet.

I cannot stop thinking about how the Sherlock Holmes stories could function if Sherlock Holmes was a prophet of the true God and that the stories were the means by which an adherent could achieve gnosis
Now I understand that the start of most of the stories, with Sherlock demonstrating his brilliance. are just a part of the episodic nature of the magazine publishing but it is so formulaic it makes you think of something more like a religious text
There's a bit where Sherlock demonstrates his brilliance by 'reading' Watson's mind and that made me think of the bit where Jesus heals the man and the Jews around him have negative thoughts about that which Jesus knows
That is a bit like Jesus
What if Sherlock Holmes was like Jesus?
I cannot stop thinking about this, it is going around in my mind endlessly
I feel like I need to write some stories promoting the gospel of Sherlock Holmes
>And he said, "Whoever finds the interpretation of these sayings will not experience death
>Jesus said, "Let him who seeks continue seeking until he finds. When he finds, he will become troubled. When he becomes troubled, he will be astonished, and he will rule over the All."
Now of course I am joking but I have become fixated on this idea
What if Sherlock Holmes was a real man, that these stories were actually true yet they had a more important message, one concerning the true God which one who follows the stories may find out?
Sherlock Holmes is often very empathetic and compassionate in the stories, he is forgiving and merciful

>In A Study in Scarlet (STUD), the very first Holmes tale, Dr. Watson describes Sherlock Holmes as being more than six feet tall, very lean, with piercing eyes and a thin hawk-like nose. Holmes’s voice was high and occasionally strident. We learn later that his eyes were gray and he had a narrow face and black hair.
Why is the most famous detective a Jew?

It struck me journalists and detectives have a lot in common. Both try to find "the truth", look for evidence, build a story where they might look at it from different angles etc. Also both "publish" their story, one in a newspaper or on TV, the other in reports and files. Yet there are a lot of detective fiction books, but I've never heard about any book which is similar but where the protagonist is a journalist. Do such books exist?

Anyone have any recommendations on what books teach you to read people? Most books so far seem very sensational or mystical, not much in terms of practical advice.

I’m currently working my way through the Sherlock Holmes series. What other good detective fiction would you recommend aside from the obvious like Agatha Christie.
