That's my rating list of the books. I read them all back to back, and I kinda just powerread through them all because I just wanted to know what will happen next. I will say RJ was good at foreshadowing stuff that would make sense like 5 books later.

Just started re-reading wheel of time in preparation for the final book of the series being released.

It's actually really good at the start, I agree it has a lot of room for improvement and the series gets slow around the 5-6th book but I'm tired of people claiming the series is shitty.

Meant to say that you can read the first three books as a trilogy and end there. After those, Rand pretty much stops being the main character and becomes just another force around which the other characters have to live with.

You can read the next three books as a trilogy as well, as you-know-who solids his grasp around the lands, and again, stop there.

To the comrade here who haven't read Wheel of Time, you should try. It might not be your cup of tea, but many (most) people have liked it, and from certain view, not having at least tried reading Jordan is like not having tried to read Tolkien.
