>what rightoids really want is just Maddox's Best Page in the Universe in book form
So much for defending Western civilization. You fuckers deserve your deprivation. Any true literary efforts would be wasted on you anyway.

so is there any 'religion' / belief system that makes any sense on a universal scale (accounting for aliens assuming they exist, all the science that points to some kind of retarded truth that the universe is just a giant meme and so on) or are we doomed to our nihilistic beliefs that 'all this' arose out of nothing and we for some reason now exist and then evolved to fear an inevitable death which is just returning us to our usual state of being which is still tangible for some reason.

>Unger has written a defense of profound philosophical skepticism. In Ignorance (1975), he argues that nobody knows anything and even that nobody is reasonable or justified in believing anything.

>In the field of applied ethics, his main work is his 1996 book Living High and Letting Die. There he argues that we have a moral duty to make large donations to life-saving charities (such as Oxfam and UNICEF), and that once we have given all of our own money and possessions, beyond what is needed to survive, we should give what belongs to others, even if we have to beg, borrow, or steal in the process.

>In "The Mental Problems of the Many" (2002), he argues for Substantial Interactionist Dualism on questions of mind and matter: that each of us is an immaterial soul.
