The one thing that kept me going was wanting to know what Achamian (and Cnaiur I guess) would do when they finally decided to actually do anything (rather than mope about it). The "Achamian did nothing wrong" poster in this thread led me to believe that something with a potential for controversy would happen, and I wanted to be able to form an opinion about it, because I liked the character. Now I am probably going to have to read three more fat books just to confirm that Achamian did in fact do nothing wrong.

I'm like 25 pages into the next book at this point, and I'm calling it now: the "idiot" twin son is pulling a Claudius.
