Did cyberpunk ruin the visionary trait of science fiction? It moved SF away from fantastic vistas and concepts and even 'hard' science and into postmodern crap like psychology, ontology, epistemology and even fucking noir.

Hear me out. What's the point of reading science fiction if there's gonna be drones, robots, rockets, cell phones, "network", AI? Shouldn't it deal with something that's unconceivable yet enticing?
