Here in holland you see lots of people reading and we have loads of literary festivals in various languages in my city. There's a bar/performance area specifically devoted to the written word, and there's regular English language poetry nights there. Tonnes of book clubs like pic related in most big cities, and once a year they give away a free novel to everyone on free book day.

It's pretty literary I think, whic h is weird because Dutch literature is mostly shit.

Adrien Brody, apparently. I can't seem to find a copy online, but having read a couple of things that I have found, I don't think I'll bother. Sort of sexy, got a bit of a chub on while reading the one about the threesome, but a bit repetitive.
