this may be a pessimistic reading of Evola, but if you take what he says seriously the conclusion for anyone reading today is that there is an overwhelming if not impossible chance for someone like us to come into contact with the Transcendent and that you should basically just live through life the best you can, die, and well who knows what happens after that...maybe you'll be born in a more spiritually fulfilling time. The worst and most prevalent reading of Evola I've seen on here is people taking all his claims about the age of decadence seriously and admitting we live in an age of soulless dissolution, but then also thinking they're some esoteric ubermench who's gonna do crazy magic or that some new religious movement will start or any other false hope of some Transcent values being bestowed onto them in their lifetimes. Don't get me wrong, you can read and apply the advice in RIde the Tiger in very practical ways to your own life, but as stated in the book, it should not be done with any hope of spiritual awakening or salvation from nihilism as a necessary outcome.
