Take all """internet debate threads"""" off this board. Literally no one is changing their opinion either way if you post /b/-tier reaction images and worn out /pol/ tropes. All the arguments in this thread are just "x philosopher says this though! he btfo him!!!"

This goes for all the internet debaters on this board. This place is better for just recommending stuff. Debating stuff on here will just make you angry since no one here debates in good faith. Debates are conducted with green texts, wojak images, and ocassionally a long post that isn't even read. At best, someone will tell you "x thinker thought this." You are wasting your time.

You gotta admit, it doesn't really add up.

So many pharisaic kabbalists in these threads who think that autistically doing the commandments earns them special good-boy spiritual points... These commandments were given specifically to distinguish God's people from the degenerated pagan world who would literally eat their own children to survive. The supposed "spiritual" meaning to the lesser commandments was retroactively retconned onto them by Christ-hating middle ages neoplatonic judeo-kabbalists.

I want to become a more cultured, knowledgeable, and insightful person. So I ask you /lit/izens to each give me your 5 favorite books that I can resd through. I have a job where I get paid to do nothing so I thought this would be the best time to read more books and learn shit.

Wtf does any of this even have to do with English, /lit/? The course is called "English Comp. II - Heroes & Villains," but it doesn't look like we'll be exploring anything to do with that. I'm already hating college. At least my theater appreciation class seems like it will be interesting. I will be writing a paper on Sophocles.
