im fascinated by the depictions of reverse/shadow/ mirror worlds (see galactic pot healer, doomed city). the (not)world is expressed through peoples conversations about it and their attempts to avoid/reach it. either they never do or it arrives at the end. either way, the most important thing in the story is always the people. bakkar suck my dick you dont know how to write genuine internal struggle.

leisure is an illusion of limitless being. fear begets fear. we're all living like this, despite the countless other ways. remember when leia showed solo and luke into the garbage chute to escape? they were about to get crushed but solo says "what a wonderful smell you've discovered."
