I have been looking into buying a e-reader, but I cannot decide between a Kobo Clara or a Kindle Paperwhite.

Is there a way to speedrun philosophy? I just want to get to Kant.
I have been watching Arthur Holmes' lecture series but its quite slow going, I'm almost at Aristotle.
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9GwT4_YRZdBf9nIUHs0zjrnUVl-KBNSM
I've read The Last Days of Socrates, and I'm going to read Republic. I'm vaguely aware I need to read something like Aristotle > Descartes > Hume > Kant, but obviously this is a big undertaking.
After watching Plato lectures I've kind of realized I have gotten a good understanding of Plato much faster from the lectures than I would have if I read all his dialogues.
Can I do this with Aristotle, Descartes and Hume? I do not have time to read copious amounts of philosophy alongside my regular reading and my university study.
Are there any lecture series or videos, or shortened secondary texts that are good?
>inb4 just read them bro
Not if there are better alternatives

Where do I start with philosophy?
I went over to the wiki and looked at the charts, but there are just so many books in there and I can't commit to one.
/mu/'s charts are easy to plow through and see what you like because an album is an hour at most, while books take both more effort and time.
Is there some kind of a "compilation" book, one that serves as an intro to a lot of important works, thought experiments etc and I'm able to go deeper after reading it?

>try to study philosophy seriously
>ask /lit/ how I should study
>they say I should start with the greeks
>okay, sure thing
>hit all of the main greek authors and go through the main ideas, not caring about the possibility of not understanding any of it and completely wasting time and resources
>okay, I think I did most of it now, what should I do next
>get called a pseud that completely wasted time and resources by /lit/ because I suggested where to go in the next step in their linear layout of studying philosophy
All of you except for OP are completely useless in actually helping someone properly understand philosophy and seriously need to be more self-aware in who you call pseuds. Pic related is a constructive tree of the main movements and ideas in philosophy, use it to get a rough idea of where to go next after you think you got enough of the greeks OP.

Is there an eastern philosophy version of this that gets from the vedantas to modern eastern philosophy such as the Kyoto school? Have no idea where to start, what's crap and what's worth reading.
