I hear many people saying Stalin was great philosopher, I hear many people saying he was a theorylet, but the main thing people seem to agree on is that he was a great debater (he BTFO HG Wells https://www.marxists.org/reference/archive/stalin/works/1934/07/23.htm)) and was good at explaining complex theory to normal people because he a straightforward and clear speaker and writer who abhorred pretentious language.
