I'm looking for any book recommendations because all my recent books I have read have been on word of mouth recommendations and have enjoyed them all, I recently read Stephen King's The Stand, and also The Name of The Wind and The Wise Man's Fear. I think of those I did enjoy the Kingkiller chronicles more because I always have been a sucker for fantasy stuff of that ilk.

Has anyone got any recommendations for good books in that genre, preferably a series with some chunky books in there as I like to read them on my lunch break when I work from home and tend to get through them pretty fast. Bonus if the series is a complete one so I can read all the books in a row and get the complete, sucks waiting for The Doors of Stone to come out.

In my defence, I was literally 13 - it's pretty much the ideal fantasy for slightly precocious 13 year olds.
I'm weirdly salty about how popular its become, it used to just be a comfy escapist book of my almost-childhood that no one else had heart of.

Can I get some honest opinions on this saga? I thought it was above average for the new and mainstream bullshit you usually find.
