Fernando Pessoa's Book of Disquiet might do it, or it might reaffirm your will to live, it's hard to say.

Maybe some Camus, Sylvia Plath. I found Graham Greene's 'Heart of the Matter' pretty bleak, lots of miserable people written beautifully.

Book of Disquiet by Pessoa

Extremely beautiful prose combined with the examination of an extremely lonely man. May be depressing and encourage people into being NEETs.

The good thing about this is that it's sorta aphoristic so it can be read in snippets randomly when you feel like it.
