Now for the real question

I've recently confronted a friend of mine in a discussion about the existence of Noah's ark. He showed me this article and even though I'm no geologist I can smell something extremely fishy about this. The distinct lack of attention this has gotten seems to me to prove that it is a hoax.

What are your thoughts? Is it fake, and what gives it away?
Is it real, why do the authorities on the subject try to cover it up?

So I have to write an interpretation of a pericope from one of the gospels, but I can't for the life of me decide which one I should take.
This is my question to you.

Is there any part of any of the gospels that you feel are of extra interest?
That is filled with symbolism.
That is brimming with wisdom.
That has been wrongly interpreted throughout the centuries.
That shows how good/evil Jesus was(this is for all the fedora and crucifix tippers out there).

What pericope do you think I should look into?

One of many options I've considered:

Since everyone is trying so hard to describe what they're good at maybe I should go the opposite direction and say that I can't play they guitar, I am a severe procrastinator and only read classical books to seem smart in front of strangers.
