Totally, on a day to day basis. Look at this guy here, he's a former President of Brazil. To me this guy is white, to most of you besides pol/, he's white too (Mediterranean, see>>13119178), to the people in the streets he's white undoubtely. He self declares "pardo"...
The important thing you're forgeting is that here in Brazil these race polls rely heavily on self-declaration and many people from older generations (black people from a time when you didn't have anything to gain for being black) trying and avoiding the stigma of blackdom self declare "pardos". I saw it clearly two weeks ago when talking to an old friend of my father who is darker than Coltrane and which self declared as "pardo", I couldn't help but laugh. Stil I didn't oppose him, today most blacks are proud he's from another time, another period without internet ativism.
