Why does /lit/ hate Russell Brand?

I was considering majoring in English when I started university, but after spending g time watching you English majors act as if any of you had a future as a writer and hearing my English major friends attest to the fact that the superficial commentary peoe provide here is no better than what actual English classes yield, I'm glad to have chosen to major in physics.
The humanities are for idiots who don't understand the value of the dollar.
My patrician taste is better than any lit major's. I've read Ulysses, Infinite Jest, Las Miss, all the big ones. And I'm also getting a degree in physics in two months. Come at me, faggots.
