Why do so many philosophers fall for the ontological argument for the existence of God?
Does it have any merit? It seems like a circular conclusion to me.

I want to get into Spinoza, more specifically Ethics. Should I read rationalists before? Descartes?
I'm currently reading Plato and I would like to go straight to Spinoza.
