Savannah Brown's creaky old bones groan audibly under her weight, as she shambles around the corner to accost you. "A-Anon, is that you?" She reaches out to you with one leathery hand. You notice that her skin is dry and brittle like paper, her fingertips stained and darkened by her crack habit. "M-My poetry, anon.. No one will read it now, because they say I'm not pretty anymore.. But you still think I'm pretty, don't you?"

There is a crazed look in her eyes. You wonder how long it has been since her last fix. You realize, you yourself haven't shitposted about Savannah Brown for several years now. Like Mira, she has become a non-entity, a phantom of her pre-wall years. You wouldn't have remembered her if she hadn't shuffled, corpse-like, back into your life just now. Now that you think of it, you never read her poetry, even when she was still young and fresh and cute.

She repeats her query. Her voice is like dry dust from an old tomb. You wonder whether it might not be more merciful to tell her the truth, to let her dry bones turn to ash on the wind, and return to nature. There's nothing you can do for her. She has hit the wall, and earlier than most. There is no coming back from that. Can you really lie to her? Can you really doom her to decades of further self-delusion, decades spent watching her social media followers dwindle and her "fanbase" recede, until it includes only her closest family members? The drugs and partying have destroyed her ability to find true love, let alone bear and raise a child. What is left for her in this world?
