These are actually really good

Harry Potter is going to go down in history as the most iconic books of our generation. They're the only books that a vast quantity of people have read or at least are familiar with. They've made a huge impact on wider culture. They've been subject to controversies. Liberal politicians like using them for allegories. There's no other books written in the last <30 years that have reached this level of cultural awareness.
