Brothers and sisters, am I insane for thinking fight scenes are, like, inherently bad? Everything good about fight scenes is not about fights. Banter is nice, cool and epic abilities are, well, epic. But actually reading battles is a fucking slog that makes my eyes bleed. I don't need to read two pages of two people pirueting, whirling, jumping, sliping behind someone's guard, etc. Seriously think about it, everything that's good about fight scenes is not about fight scenes themselves. A fight scene only works if it's a normal scene that's about fight, but doesn't concern itself with describing actual moves unless it's really important.

Feel free to provide me a good fight scene to prove me wrong, whatever literary medium.
