Is anyone else sick of philosophers and classicists pretending to be real Christians because they happen to well-read? The Scriptures are very clear as to what kind of being God is, and they are very what being a Christian means. You have read the Bible and consider Jesus to be an enlightened teacher and agree with Biblical ethics? Great, that doesn't make you a Christian.

Stop ascribing properties you picked up reading Plato, Aristotle, Hindu Scriptures, etc. to the Christian God. Dante is not canon, neither is Milton.
