I know this is another one of "those" threads, but what do you guys judge prose by?

I don't mean name-dropping or paragraph-posting, only by what criteria do you tend to make your decision as to whether something is good or bad.

Also, do you think these judgments can be objective in any way? Are opposite poles opinions on someone like Faulkner equally valid? Or are there some rules to keep in mind that always improve prose for the better, regardless of style?

I don't understand how anyone can legitimately like women. I've met so many women, read about so many - fuck, I can't even think of a fictional character I've liked that was a woman.

But even if you were gay, the same thing applies. Once you're very passionate about something, I don't think there's room for a deep and intimate relationship.

You always get those normie friend who insist their girlfriend is nice and perfect, then you meet the girl in question and she's a fucking retard, you tell him so, he says NAH MATE, THIS IS THE ONE, and a few months/years later he's sobbing because she left him for someone else.

Being interested in a lineage, however, is fulfilling. That's why you ideally want to get a young and malleable woman when you're in your 30s, ideally a poor orphan with low-esteem so she has no other option but to raise your offspring and make you food.
