No, suspect such a book is impossible, but have a look at "The Sacred and the Profane" by Mercia Eliade. Touches on this stuff. In terms of Europe, there's countless on the Graeco-Roman stuff, and the Prose Edda is worth getting to look into the Nordic traditions. Beowulf best example from the UK.

So /lit/, I just finished Dante's Inferno, Paradise Lost and now I'm going through Wayne Barlowe's Hell trilogy (pic related).

Is there any other interesting books about heaven and hell and Abrahamic mythology out there that I should read? Kinda interested in the more fantastical and epic parts of religion like the War in Heaven and such.

Got any good recommendations?
