This question starts heated discussions with big fantasy fans:

Do you like it when a fantasy work describe races similar to how Tolkien popularized them? While he didn't invented the races, his take on it has become somewhat of the "norm" for modern fantasy works.

>Elves are blonde, fair skinned, long ears, live thousands of years, like archery and magic.
>Dwarves are blacksmiths, have long beards and are bald.
>Dark elves are edgy/emo elves, sometimes brown-skinned or super pale.
>Ogres are big and deformed.

It's rare to see works with elves (for example) as blacksmiths and dwarves as archers.
