/lit/-lurkers who are forty+ years old:
>1. Have you gone through your mid-life psychosis state yet?

I'm older, but far from self-actualized. All my other hierarchy of needs are comfortably satisfied at the moment, but I know I need to begin my journey more seriously now. Will shadow work investment actually provide me an authentic & realized transformation once I climb out of my upcoming psychotic state? Or am I too focused on thinking there's one best path to walk in order to best obtain my transformed & realized self?

I need to hear confessions from others on what it's like, what triggered it, and what traps I need to avoid.
