Pretty sad that few here read The Wandering Inn, today Volume 8 has finished, with the entire volume wordcount ending up at 2,725,101 words. A monumental achievement for Pirateaba, and the climax itself was so epic and intense that it would be enough for 2-3 average Epic Fantasy series. No other story would be able to set-up few volumes of events and characters, with their own arcs and journeys, just to engineer a climax that brings all of those plotlines and characters together in one grand finish, which can be said to end the first arc of the story. And to think we might be only halfway, or even 1/3 through the entire story. In a decade or more people will be mentioning TWI as one of the great Fantasy of this generation, if not of genre as a whole. Now a month of break, and then Volume 9 starts. I hope even a few people here will be able to look past their prejucide against webnovels and experience this amazing story themselves and not miss out on a story like none other.
