Are there anymore books that are as epic as IT? Horror wise. This book was just so perfect in my opinion, I need something just like it.

(already read The Stand)

I wish I could forget everything about this book just so I could read it again like it was my first time.

Hi /lit/ I posted this last night, but it turns out I'm not going to the used book store until tomorrow.

Growing up I read a lot of teen/pre-teen books, then in my early-mid teens I read a lot of classics (twain, swift, wells, dickens, etc.), but I haven't done a lot of modern reading.

My birthday is saturday, and, knowing my love of reading (and used book stores) my GF is getting me $100 worth of books.

I need some advice on more recent things to read, so far all I've really read (aside from classics) is:
Catcher in the Rye
Slaughterhouse Five
True History of the Kelly Gang
Catch 22
A couple Palahniuk books (not my cup of tea)
Some Grisham
Some Steven King

Any advice on what to look for would be greatly appreciated.

/lit/, I feel deprived.

Growing up, I read mostly books dedicated to my age group, until I was 15. Then I read true classics, Robinson Cruseau, King Solomon's Mines, some Twain, some Dickens... But I didn't read any more modern classics, or recent novels in general.

I just started recently, books that I've heard from multiple sources that are must-reads that I've read: Catcher in the Rye, Slaughterhouse 5, Catch 22, Life of Pi and True History of the Kelly Gang. I've also read a few Grisham novels, some steven King, and a couple Palahniuk (not a fan). Those are the only real books I've read that aren't old classics.

I'm going to the used book store tomorrow, with $100 to spend (best birthday gift ever? I think so), reccomend me some books + authors to look out for?

Sci-fi and horror were my thing in high school. Hell, they still are.

So a bunch of boys and one girl are lost and scared in a sewer and the only solution they come up with is for all the guys to bang the girl one after the other because this will some how solve all their problems. Also, they're fucking 11.

What the fuck man.
