House of Leaves.
It's a layered book with horror/thriller and some humor elements.

Hey /lit, what do you think of my latest horror writing? Here it is:

> Be me
> Had been going to Barnes and Noble quite a bit lately to satisfy my reading cravings
> Everytime I go, I see the same unusual set up
> In the fiction section, the book House of Leaves sits on the shelf, one copy left, cover facing out, with no books around it for at least 4 feet
> Everytime I go, I see this
> Never buy it, however I am interested in it
> Finally go back one day with the sole purpose of purchasing it
> It's gone

COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT

I finished it, /lit/.

It was decent.

Serious feels at the whole baby/mother story.

>MFW the Navidson Record is in Truant's head
>MFW Truant is the Minotaur

This was probably the most successful example of ergoic lit I've read. Danielewski is a supreme autist, sometimes to the point of absurdidty (yeah, yeah, it's part of the novel).

Shit wasn't really scary as much as it was unnerving. Got really bored with the Truant fuck fest.

7/10 would/will read again
