It is my experience that people like this are far more than average to be able to talk about books.

Even if they're not talking solid /lit/core, and they're maybe not going to talk about it at an actual large party, I think you're more likely to get a good chat out of these hipsters than many folk.

Does it ever fuck with anyone else's head that, because we're all from different countries and scenes and classes and locations even within those countries, we can have these totally different appreciations of simple images/stereotypes?

It's not like stereotypes even mean shit anymore, since the internet started even our preconceived ideas and cultural stereotypes have succumbed to a schizoid fracture, infinite demi-mondes and no monde to be found.

That's who he studied under, as I understand it.
It all depends on how deep into philosophy you want to go. Me, not so much, so a cursory look is good enough for me. Stirner's ideas seem rather simple though.

Language is a structure that makes us able to convey our thoughts.
But language =/= thoughts

It is not weird at all to find androgyny sexy. In the 1920s, American society at large considered androgynous girls the most attractive.

Let's bring the 2020s back to that.

Hey /lit/,
I'm currently reading a lot of philosophy because I finished my semester. I am interested in the philosophy of language and logic. I've found authors that helped me find the answers to almost all the questions I had, However one question still remains and I can't find a proper author that tackles this issue.
How does thought emerge ?
How does one have a thought pop up in one's mind ? Is it random, determined ?
What is the origin of a thought / thinking ?

All recommendations or opinions are welcome
pic maybe somewhat related.
