It's the basis for our current judicial system, though. Superintelligence would have to comply with the law.
Humans in comparison to animals are superintelligence but we spent a few thousand years getting mauled by lions before getting the upper hand and now we do what we can to protect them.
If superintelligence became 'evil' we'd send in supersonic fighter jets or missiles and level the scene.
>Peculiarly based, wasn't expecting this among your other retardations
Well, do you agree? Do you also want human life to exist candidly?
Eating cakes and driving gondolas may be the ultimate human purpose.
>Irrelevant hack, read Strugatsky bros instead
Solaris > Power gap > St*lker
Which brings me to my second point. Tarkovsky and Lem painted a very nice picture of an intelligence which desires humanity. Could humans be more warped than general intelligence when it comes to this fact?
We are living in the obscenity and needless destruction of Hard to be a God and the uncertainty and empty gain of Stalker. I want the novelty and the satiated curiosity of Solaris.
>To what end?
The more world's we inhabit the greater life's diversity is and the better our oversight is. If we achieve a Kepler I society why stop there? The more resources, the greater we can support self defining life and the better cognitive, material and biological infrastructure we can build.
