Right now, the Canterbury Tales. I will admit, I am reading a modernized "translation" of the work and frequently consulting a transcript of MS Harley 7334 rather than strictly reading it all in Middle English. Frankly, it's too time-consuming and my pronunciation is quite poor. I have only read three entirely in the Middle English. Whenever I read a story, afterwards I summarize it to my Mom. She likes the Nun's Priest's Tale the best. I'm down to the last three tales; I will probably split the Parson's Tale across two days unless it really captures me.

Before this, I read the Decameron. >>15136281, you're in for a real treat. Except for Day 6, which is nothing but duds until Dioneo's story, which is quite good. Frankly, I'm ashamed of my Chaucer professor for only casually mentioning the Decameron in the context of the Canterbury Tales. It is by far the most important text to understanding the Canterbury Tales. And that's before getting into Bocaccio's other works. And >>15136281, I strongly encourage you to follow the Decameron with the Canterbury Tales just like I have.

Next, I will probably read The Book of Enoch.

No, but good guess.
Hint: My poor illustration illustrates the ending of the novel, when the protagonist arrives at what he believes is Antarctica.

The whiteness of the image is important for the scene, but I might have gone a little overboard. I can't even tell there's anything in the background when my laptop's screen darkens.
