I've been reading a lot of Marxist literature lately, explaining why capitalism/neoliberalism/etc. is bad and destroying the world. They seem to make sense, but I feel like I need to read some pro-capitalism literature to "balance things out." Especially literature that specifically refutes Marxist claims. Any recs? Surely capitalism isn't completely evil.

Does anyone else find it hard to enjoy philosophy when you realize that most philosophers would give up their heady ideals and cultural critiques if it meant they could get endless wealth and pussy instead? Whenever I read a philosopher making some grand point about inequality or whatever, I can't help feeling like they would sell out it in an instant if they could instead have grand wealth and lots of hot women to fuck.

If Karl Marx thought that profit meant that labor was exploited (correct me if I'm wrong), then what would he say about a trade that both people wanted? What if BOTH people in the transaction feel like they profit from a trade? Is there still exploitation?
