After you reach the conclusion that NO dictionary defines "estar" "being-today", try to put your only 2 (two) neurons to work on the idea that "temporarily" refers to multiple and different instances of time that are not permanent. You can "estar bonita" at 3 PM and not "estar bonita" at 4 PM.

Furthermore, you went from "looks good" to "good-looking". You didn't use "good-looking" (the juxtaposed adjective) but the term "looks good" which has a completely different connotative and denotative meaning.
