I am unsure how to answer that. The subject interests me greatly. I do not practice any traditional method. Aside from some general prayers, meditations, and yogic and tantric techniques, I am pretty mundanely focused and not a practitioner of magic or any religion. I forge my own path, you might say, though my personal philosophy is similar enough to Taoism that I sometimes describe myself as one. I suppose I am scared of insanity and negative repercussions of sorcery. Nevertheless, I find it strangely spiritually inspiring to hear theories of how magic works and systems of signatures and correspondences in the natural world by which we might discern God's hidden messages. Though I am a scientist, I find it hard to believe that all these systems of magic are so similar if there is nothing behind them.
