Mr Jordan explores ancient Aryan religious beliefs, cyclical nature of time and its relation to civilizations(Spengler), allusions to the Christian Messiah and anti christ, the myth of the blood, dualism, the relationship between men and women(the series in entirely anti feminist) catastrophism, the human soul and the psyche, warfare and its impact, determinism, free will, fate, destiny, and finally narrative possession; the idea that a person can become essentially possessed by a false narrative which can snowball and have a mass effect on the entire world and entire populations throughout the ages starting from one false or half truth and exploding outwards in a telephone game through time.
