UBI, as something that gives a central government even more invasive control over your life, and also tends to turn everyone into a lazy pothead faggot, is the worst combination of welfare state + nanny state you could ever have.

The goal should be to create citizens who can support themselves (ideally off independently owned land they can also be proud of), not create slave-citizens who love their slavery.

Incidentally this is why a well-armed citizenry is always a good thing. It makes them stronger, more independent, prouder. Machiavelli knew what he was doing.

>Well, how did that work out?
The leftists, your friends, allied with the capitalists to beat my guys, the only people who ever made functioning socialist states (where happiness and productivity also skyrocketed to superhuman levels within 5 years). Your guys, the leftists who ally with capital whenever they get a chance, only barely beat the good guys.

Luckily we'll see round two soon. Unless you can do enough unionizing of Mexicans with IQs of 80 and pothead blacks who have been dependent on the welfare state for half a century thanks to leftist cooperation with the bourgeoisie (wow, it just keeps happening):

Let's see who succeeds first. I'm gonna put my money on the people who currently don't control every university, and don't have the state department calling them the biggest threats to neoliberalism.

Good recommendation, don't forget to read Samuel Francis' extension and development of Burnham's thesis too. Pic related is basically a Machiavellian "art of war" for combatting the managerial class as described by Burnham.

>then what's left?
What's left is resisting the very real enemy illuminated by Marx and many Marxist theorists, and to which they never answered a satisfactory solution or counter.

Burnham's theory of the managerial class is as much a useful and necessary extension of Marxist theory as Gramsci's, and as the Frankfurt School's inquiries into reification and so on. All of these are necessary for pointing out the enemy. But Burnham swapped out a Marxist dialectic for an Italian (Mosca/Pareto) one, creating a shitty fatalist non-solution or rather a submission. The Frankfurt School swapped out the Hegelian core of Marxism for a bourgeoisified demi-Hegelian core that tries to "visit" alterity regularly and tap it for secrets, while fundamentally living in capitalist-managerial hell.

Only Gramsci came close to understanding "what is to be done." And if he were honest with himself he would have agreed with you, white nationalism and fascism are the way forward. You should read Zeev Sternhell's and A. James Gregor's works on this. Fascism was a natural continuation and completion of the failures of Marxism to propose real solutions, fascism really was socialism realised, not just a LARPy traditionalist repudiation of socialism. Mussolini was a deep reader of Marx and an extremely sincere leading socialist (Gramsci called himself a Mussolinian) who abandoned the movement, didn't "get kicked out," abandoned it when he was well situated within it, because it was floundering and something else was needed.

The more leftist trannies cry about red-brown alliances being a meme the closer to reality they become. It's just that they are often subtle because all the loudest/fakest leftists scream about them while they are silently happening in the background, as the "silent majority" working class realises who is actually defending its interests. Read these if you're interested, no pressure though

This, Francis not only showcases the strategy of the /pol/ phenomenon and its relation to resurgent populism, he is interested in harnessing /pol/ type phenomena so he brings together different sociological accounts of them. He focused on "middle American radicals" in the 1990s but shifted toward ethno-nationalism in the 2000s.

Currently reading this, only started so I don't really have an opinion of it but it seems a serious attempt to address the absence you mention.

Anyway, I think the answer why there is so little of it is obvious. As progressives began making inroads into the humanities the "right" in the liberal anglosphere psyop'd themselves in to believing that cultural, both the production and critique of it, wasn't an appropriate topic of concern, and so they spent the latter half of the previous century ceding ground to their rivals, granting them a near monopoly. Instead they focused largely on economic issues with their social concerns being mostly shallow appeasement to their voting blocks whenever election season rolled round. To make matters worse as Neoliberalism became ascendant a convergence took place between the aesthetics of defanged radical leftism and the economic concerns that the right had resigned themselves to, rending them at best parties of delayed capitulation and at worst obsolete.

They gave up the fight, and when the realised this their efforts at pulling out of a nose dive were futile. The battlefield has had changed yet they still thought they could win old, forgotten battles. They fight with ghosts now. At least there is a self-aware portion of left-liberals who realise that the underdog rebel aesthetic they engage in is just a multi-generation psyop to mindfuck normies. Much of the right still buys in to it and thinks that they can get a re-do of the 60's.
