What's interesting about that statement is usually people actually mean "everything is value" or "everything is ethics" when they say it. They usually directly relate it to state power structures and how everything ultimately depends on the state in some capacity. I would say this is actually quite illusory because 9 times out of ten if you want to change the world in any capacity whatsoever, in an ethical sense, you have to do it yourself. I've really developed the opinion that the Political system is a literal cope for people that can't be the change they want to see, start a business, form relationships etc.

Philosophy has unironically regressed since the Renaissance. Science, mathematics, computer science, even Theology are leagues ahead of philosophy in modern times, philosophers were fixated on language for the entire last century despite The computer scientists and mathematicians solving all problems associated with it decades before. Even Leibniz before that anticipated and destroyed all modernists and post modernists
